Springbrook Oven Ham

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Bake 2.5 lb ham (approximate weight) at 400 for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees. Bake the ham for 25-30 per lb.
Place ham in a casserole dish and add:
1 cup apple juice or cider
1 apple, peeled and sliced
¼ cup maple syrup, poured over top of ham
You can also add a few cloves to the dish (optional).
Baste ham with the maple syrup cider mixture occasionally throughout cooking. Cover during baking. Internal temperature should reach 70 degrees Celsius.
